Link To The
Majora's Mask's Review
The second Zelda
game for the Nintendo 64 otherwise known as Zelda Gaided. Majora's Mask is the
sequel to OoT and and another story in the epic Zelda Series. The graphics are
the best and the game play is really good. The game got a 9.4 out of 10 on
Nintendo Power and is one of the best games ever!!
You start out as Link wandering through the woods when A Skull Kid with a freaky
mask on steals your horse and Ocarina and turns you into a Deku. You must heal
yourself before you can go into one of the 4 dungeons. Throughout the game you
will collect many new items like the camera and many classic items like the Bow
and Arrow. There are songs that will take you to owl statues that you have been
too before (kind of like Ocarina of Time).
Like I said before there are 4 main dungeons in the game and there are also 4
moon dungeons on the Moon. Inside the 4 main dungeons is a key item and a hard
boss at the end. If you defeat that boss then you will get his remains in a Mask
Form. Once you collect all four remains you can go to the moon.
The final boss in this game is located on the moon. It is not Ganon, however, it
is Majora's Mask!! The Mask has three forms and each from requires a certain
strategy too beat. The graphics in this part are awesome and even better if you
have Fierce Dieghty's Mask.
The game has a great variety of game play and has some great masks. This game
will go down in Nintendo History and will be a classic too all gamers. I recommend
this game too anyone and personally it is one of my favorites!!
GRAPHICS: This game had the same graphic engine as Ocarina of Time.
They added a new strap onto Link, across his chest like a backpack strap; they
also had more objects on screen. Sadly the landmasses weren’t as huge and
awe-inspiring. Still it gets a 10.0
SOUND: They clearly added the old Zelda song, and new songs that were
CONTROL: Though not many people noticed, the camera changed, you could no
longer just hit "Z" and take off running, you have to now wait a
second. With the addition of 3 more characters to move... 10.0
COMMENTS: It was much shorter than Ocarina of Time, and wasn’t as
awe-inspiring, plus you had to stay a kid almost through the whole game. It was
still worth it.
